Edit menu

The functioning of the Edit menu depends on which type of BiotSavart window is the active one.

When the configuration window is the active one:

Cut (cmd-X)

Copies selected objects to the clipboard and deletes them.

Copy (cmd-C)

Copies selected objects to the clipboard.

Paste (cmd-V)

Objects on the clipboard are loaded into the configuration.

Clear

Deletes the selected objects.

Copy graphics

Copies a bitmap image of the graphics content of the frontmost window to the clipboard. For configuration or plot result windows.

Select All (cmd-A)

Selects all objects in the configuration.

Select None

Clears selection list.

Duplicate

Duplicates the selected objects.

Modify (cmd-I)

Creates a edit window for each selected object.

Modify

(cmd-I) Creates a edit window for each selected object.

If no objects are selected, then Copy places a copy of the picture in the configuration window onto the clipboard.

When an edit window is active, then the Edit menu can be used to Cut, Copy, and Paste text.
