Download LensForge
When you purchase a LensForge license, Ripplon Software will send you an e-mail containing a link to a file LensForge.zip located on Ripplon's web site. Click the link. Your browser should then download the file to your desktop (or to where you have reconfigured your browser to download). If it does not, you will have to copy the address and paste it into the address field of your browser. Everything should proceed automatically from this point to produce a directory called LensForge.
Open the LensForge folder
Open the LensForge folder and you should see the following:
- LensForge.app (the LensForge program)
- kidger-triplet.zmx (a test lens)
- GOST.AGF (a public-domain ZEMAX glass catalog)
- EDMUND OPTICS.ZMF (a catalog of stock lenses)
- THORLABS.ZMF (a catalog of stock lenses)
Drag LensForge to your Applications directory
Or wherever else you want to keep the program.
Move the LensForge extras to your hard drive
Drag the other files to your hard drive. They can go anywhere.
Now you are ready to start using LensForge.
